Position Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial functions, including month-end close, variance analysis, cost management, project support, and business partnering. You will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Accounting and collaborate closely with the CFO – North America, as well as cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and partner with business leaders to provide actionable insights for decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Champion cost management initiatives, collaborating across the organization to promote spending control and accountability, and to drive cost-saving projects.
  • Support project analysis, including margin analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Contribute to the annual planning and budgeting process through financial modeling, analysis, and system entry.
  • Prepare and present ad hoc analyses and reports for functional leaders and executive management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced financial reporting.
  • Proactively seek out areas in need of additional or new analysis to support business growth.
  • Execute accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant professional experience supporting the activities of manager/director level professionals in the financial area.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience with SAP (please specify modules) and database management; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Confident presenter, able to communicate complex information clearly to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
