Recruitment & Sourcing – 50%
- Support high-volume hiring by developing candidate pipelines and managing large applicant pools.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental staffing needs and develop effective postings.
- Source candidates using job boards, community partners, social media, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain external relationships with agencies, schools, and workforce development organizations.
- Represent Relay Resources at job fairs, community events, and hiring initiatives.
- Use UKG Ready (ATS) to manage job postings, applicant tracking, and onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
- Assist hiring managers with interview guides, scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Collaborate with People Operations staff to coordinate onboarding and pre-hire requirements.
- Work from the office every Wednesday and Thursday to provide in-person recruiting support.
- Help organize and run bi-weekly Thursday hiring events, including scheduling candidates, setting up spaces, and supporting managers during interviews.
- Track and report on applicant sources to refine recruiting strategies.
- Monitor recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, applicant flow, source effectiveness, etc.) to support continuous improvement.
- Provide hiring status updates to hiring managers and People Operations leadership.
- Ensure recruiting practices follow equity, diversity, and inclusion standards.
- Ensure candidates receive consistent and positive communication throughout the process.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers to ensure fair and effective hiring practices.
- Partner with colleagues across People Operations to maintain alignment with organizational goals.
- Model Relay Resources’ values in interactions with candidates, employees, and community partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience using UKG Ready or another applicant tracking system.
- Proven success in high-volume hiring environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with candidates and managers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and recruiting platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience recruiting in a mission-driven or nonprofit organization.
- Familiarity with workforce programs or organizations supporting people with disabilities.
- Prior experience coordinating or facilitating large-scale hiring events.
- Training or certification in Human Resources (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.).
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
- Familiarity with employment laws and compliance in recruitment.
- Skill in relationship-building with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to applicants and employees.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies for improved hiring outcomes.
- Capacity to thrive in both collaborative team environments and independently.
