Description:

AgreeYa is seeking a Digital Assets SME in building a next-generation Digital Assets Interface for institutional users, with retail functionality to follow. This consultant will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on expert, guiding through the design, development, and integration of digital asset capabilities that align with regulatory, security, and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities

Platform Strategy & Advisory

• Define and validate the digital asset roadmap for institutional users, ensuring scalability for future retail expansion.
• Advise on architecture for wallet management, crypto-to-fiat conversion, and collateralized lending using digital assets.
  
  

Solution Design & Integration

• Collaborate with product and technology teams to design user interfaces for viewing crypto wallets, portfolios, and transaction flows.
• Enable integration with Coinbase APIs and other blockchain services for secure, compliant operations.
• Define workflows for buying, selling, and transferring digital assets, including real-time fiat on/off ramps.
  
  

Risk & Compliance Alignment

• Embed controls for SOX, AML/KYT, and other regulatory frameworks into platform design.
• Ensure operational readiness and audit compliance for all digital asset transactions.
  
  

Technical Leadership

• Provide expertise on payment rails (ACH, wires, RTP) and digital asset protocols.
• Guide API strategy for wallet-centric UI and institutional-grade security.
• Support vendor evaluation and integration for stablecoin issuers/exchanges.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the single-threaded SME for digital assets, bridging business objectives with technical execution.
• Deliver executive-ready updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in digital assets, blockchain, or crypto infrastructure within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience in wallet architecture, crypto custody, and tokenization strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Coinbase API, blockchain protocols, and RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (AML/KYT, SOX) and risk frameworks for digital assets.
• Expertise in payment systems (ACH, wires, RTP) and fiat-crypto conversion mechanisms.
• Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with stablecoin integration and institutional crypto lending models.
• Background in core banking systems and digital payment ecosystems.
• Certifications in blockchain technologies or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) a plus.
