The Work
The Network Architect with be responsible for the analysis of business and technical requirements, system capabilities assessment, and the design and implementation of innovative network architectures. This position focuses on optimizing enterprise systems and infrastructure, particularly supporting cloud transformation initiatives for the client’s project.
This role will use complex business objectives, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and identify optimal solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role will also lead to the design of secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid network architectures that ensure seamless integration between on-premises environments and cloud-native services, demonstrating deep expertise in modern, hybrid networking strategies.

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns to integrate existing on-prem data center networks with AWS services.
- Design secure, high-performance network architectures that meet compliance, governance, and business continuity requirements.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.
- Establish network governance standards and best practices to support long-term growth and evolving enterprise needs.
- Ensure routing, segmentation, and security policies are aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical workloads.
- Other duties as assigned .
Here’s What You Need
- 8 years extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on-premises environments.4 years of experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate technical solutions.
- 8 years of experience Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies.
- 8 years of experience Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
- 8 years experience in network security principles, including encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks.
- 8 years experience in high availability design, load balancing, and failover strategies.
- 8 years of familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- 8 years of experience with multi-cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and cloud-native networking services.
- 8 years of knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
- 8 years of exposure to SD-WAN technologies and network observability tools (NetFlow, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
- 8 years of experience u nderstanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud networking.
- 8 years of certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure

Working Conditions
- Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
- Must reside in the Austin area.
