Job Summary Systems Analyst 3 (Network Architect)

  • Act as a Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures for cloud transformation initiatives (TEDS project).
  • Analyze business objectives, user requirements, and operational procedures to automate processes or enhance existing computer systems.
  • Conduct studies and cost/benefit analyses to identify and recommend alternative solutions for business and technical problems.
  • Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns, integrating on-premises networks with AWS services.
  • Develop secure, high-performance network architectures that comply with governance, compliance, and business continuity requirements.
  • Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.
  • Establish and maintain network governance standards and best practices to meet evolving enterprise needs.
  • Ensure routing, segmentation, and security policies align with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Drive high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical workloads.
  • Document user needs, program functions, and procedures for developing or modifying computer programs.
  • Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of program changes.
  • Utilize network automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure management.
  • Apply knowledge in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, firewall technologies, and network security principles.
  • Incorporate cost optimization strategies and advanced security models (e.g., Zero Trust, SD-WAN, network observability tools).
  • Leverage relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Azure Network Engineer Associate).

Work Location & Terms:

  • Hybrid work (2 days remote, 3 days onsite in Austin, TX; subject to change).
  • Full Time position, contract expected from January 26, 2026 to August 31, 2026, with possible renewals.
