Overview
Foot Locker, a leading global retailer of athletically inspired shoes and apparel, is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent across our various technology domains (e.g., Software Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, MarTech, and more) to support our critical business transformation and growth initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage the full-cycle recruiting process for complex technical roles, partner closely with hiring managers, and contribute to building a world-class technology organization.
This is a 3 month assignment but the potential of going full time. Preferably this role would be local to the NYC area.

The annual base salary range is $85,000 - $100,000/yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting: Manage and execute the end-to-end recruiting process for a diverse portfolio of technical roles, from initial sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and closing.
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement innovative and inclusive sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of highly qualified and diverse technical candidates, utilizing various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, industry events, and employee referrals.
- Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers, consulting on market trends, compensation, and effective interview and selection strategies.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by providing timely communication, constructive feedback, and a high level of professionalism throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine our technical recruiting processes, tools (e.g., ATS usage, interview guides), and metrics to drive efficiency and quality of hire.
- Employer Branding: Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for the Foot Locker technology brand, promoting our culture and career opportunities to prospective candidates.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire, candidate pipeline health) and report progress to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, ideally a mix of corporate/in-house and agency experience.
- Deep Technical Acumen: Proven ability to understand, explain, and recruit for a variety of technical roles and domains (e.g., cloud platforms, programming languages, data architectures, etc.).
- ATS Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, etc.) and other modern recruiting technologies.
- Experience recruiting within the retail, e-commerce, or fashion technology sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Cameras must be on for all virtual interviews.
- AI tools are strictly prohibited during interviews or assessments.
