Account Executive – Managed Services Provider (3+ yrs exp. req.)

Must reside in one of the following states: MA, CT, ME, NH, VT, RI, MD, VA, NC, SC, or FL

Territory: various regions along the East Coast

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base + Uncapped Commission (1st yr OTE $150k) + Benefits

Typical Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Account Executive – Managed Services Provider (3+ yrs exp. req.) Description


Our client, a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP), is seeking a results-driven Account Executive experienced in selling managed services, or networking solutions. This role centers on driving new recurring revenue through consultative, solution-oriented selling within the SMB market. You’ll help clients secure and scale their environments across cloud productivity (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace), backup and disaster recovery, endpoint security, and networking solutions (Cisco Meraki & hybrid remote/on-premise).


You’ll step into a fully equipped sales engine with vetted prospect lists, enterprise-grade sales tools most MSPs don’t invest in, marketing campaigns, and access to seasoned engineers.


You’ll join an environment where leadership is present, onboarding is structured, and success is shared. Bring your sales discipline and consultative approach, and the organization will give you everything you need to ramp up quickly and succeed!


Account Executive – Managed Services Provider (3+ yrs exp. req.) Responsibilities


  • Prospect new business opportunities across SMB markets through outbound activities
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities in the CRM
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover client pain points and align MSP solutions to business needs
  • Deliver virtual presentations to C-suite and IT leadership
  • Execute sales strategy with support from leadership and marketing
  • Negotiate and close contracts that drive profitable, long-term client relationships
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and activity KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal teams’ post-sale to transition accounts
  • Stay current on industry trends, cybersecurity solutions, and managed IT offerings


Account Executive – Managed Services Provider (3+ yrs exp. req.) Qualifications


  • 3+ years of managed services provider/networking solutions sales experience required
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, infrastructure, and networking solutions required
  • Proven success generating net-new business and achieving or exceeding quota required
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) required
