Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to help us deliver cutting-edge industrial battery charging systems. In this role, you’ll assemble cabinets, build cable assemblies, and operate tools and machinery to create high-quality products that power industries worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial battery charging cabinets following engineering drawings and specifications.
- Build and route cable assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate machines and hand tools for cutting, crimping, fastening, and finishing components.
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot assembly issues to ensure top performance.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and drive innovation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience assembling electrical cabinets or industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with cable assembly techniques and crimping tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Competitive Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
