OVERVIEW:
This position is aligned with the Electrical and Special Projects Divisions of Encore Electric to source and recruit qualified talent for remote and local projects utilizing company recruiting resources, industry resources and their own professional network to attract candidates. The recruiter will be recruiting Licensed Electricians and field leadership roles. This position will be expected to work cross functionally with other business units as necessary.

Recruiting
- Source and find the right candidates for the job using the Recruiting Process while partnering with the other departments and team members
- Research areas for strategic recruitment, when required
- Creatively source and recruit candidates from agreed upon areas of the country where the economy is softening
- Travel to remote areas and soft markets to recruit in person, including all Encore Offices
- Set up interview areas in these soft markets
- Interview candidates in person, video conference and via phone
- Create, maintain, and finalize job postings through UKG
- Inform Human Resources Business Partners of updates to job description as identified
- Evaluate candidate’s skill level in a methodical, detail-oriented manner
- Test candidates using interviewing techniques and selection tests, as approved by organization
- Source, interview and hire candidates that are a good fit for the organization
- Maintain accurate candidate documentation for future hiring needs
- Administer employment offers to candidates and see through to hire with timely and detailed handoff to onboarding team
- Assist HR with onboarding new hires as needed
- Keep applicant tracking system (UKG) updated with notes throughout hiring process
- Be a strategic business partner to hiring managers and leaders
- Follow laws and ensure hiring process is compliant with
Technicial/Trade School Recruiting
- Research and establish relationships with technical and other schools as a tool for candidate sourcing
- Attend career fairs and select career events when required
- Meet with students to educate them on Encore Electric
- Interview and hire graduating students and potential interns
- Partner closely with Human Resources teams on compensation – assessing market and providing insights as provided from candidates
- Encourage best practices and adoption of technology, as approved, to keep Encore on the cutting edge of recruitment
- The role emphasizes relationship-building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline

- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and three to five years of progressive experience in a fast-paced business environment.
- Direct experience in recruiting electrical and low voltage is required.
- Candidates must have experience with Human Resources processes and be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook 365. Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required, and familiarity with UKG is strongly preferred. Bilingual recruiting experience is highly desirable.
- The role also requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- This is an in-office position , and occasional travel may be required.
