Rooms To Go is currently looking to add a Senior Corporate Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition team. Primary responsibilities include managing the full recruitment lifecycle process by sourcing and identifying qualified candidates for corporate positions. Rooms To Go is one of the largest retail furniture companies with over 250 retail stores and 8 distribution centers.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage/Lead internal and external recruitment for Brookhaven corporate and Suwanee Photo Studio roles (merchandising, digital, marketing, operations, and IT)
  • Develop a strong business acumen to help translate the needs of Rooms To Go into talent management solutions.
  • Consult with hiring managers to identify the scope of the talent needed; develop and implement strategic and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partner on onboarding, payroll, benefits, and legal/compliance.
  • Explore new, creative ways of sourcing talent to optimize success by direct sourcing passive talent, utilizing social media, job boards, advertisement, and networking to develop a qualified candidate slate.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of candidates and recruiting sources.
  • Identify qualified candidates, conduct screening interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews with Hiring Managers.
  • (Repetitive) Advise and consult with the hiring managers on hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and market trends within the industry.
  • Provide follow up with managers to provide updates and gather feedback on talent submissions and interviews.
  • Identify and implement best practices throughout the hiring process
  • Lead, participate and collaborate on projects, when necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and EEO / ADA guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as required.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
  • Five or more years of professional experience in recruiting within a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, candidates and associates, and guiding hiring managers through the hiring process to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Experience with behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
  • Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws.
  • Ability to effectively navigate within an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to influence leaders at all levels in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present and communicate with all levels within the organization, with agencies and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines and adjust to sudden changes in workflow.
