Position Summary

RL Siteworx is seeking an outgoing, persuasive, and experienced Recruiter with strong interpersonal skills to lead recruitment efforts to identify, attract, and onboard top-tier talent, including project managers, engineers, estimators, skilled tradespeople, and support staff. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The duties of this role require a basic understanding of underground wet utilities and dirt work and a desire to work with digital recruiting platforms. This role will have opportunities to interact with a variety of people and influence applicants through outstanding communication.

PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT

As part of our hiring process, we ask candidates to set aside 5-10 uninterrupted minutes to complete a Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment. These assessments do not measure intelligence, education, or experience. It simply measures communication needs and problem-solving abilities. OBJECTIVES

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a high-caliber workforce, including Foreman, Project Managers, Estimators, skilled trades, and administrative roles.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through a variety of tools and channels including job boards, industry networks, social media platforms, online data bases, career fairs, Boolean searches, and employee referrals.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial candidate screening calls to determine cultural alignment and candidate qualifications. Make recommendations to hiring manager regarding next steps. Schedule next steps with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Onboarding: Prepare for candidates' arrival and onboarding activities. Assist the hiring manager with initial onboarding activities and training.
  • Job Posting: Manage all job postings across multiple digital platforms. Leverage multiple digital platforms and industry-specific networks to promote job openings.
  • Applicant Tracking System: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects and candidate touch points in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM systems; Ensure high integrity of data management in these platforms.
  • Digital Platform Management: Manage all digital hiring platforms (Indeed, Linked In, Top Echelon, etc.) to illustrate RL’s culture, core values, offerings, etc.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, labor market conditions, and salary benchmarks specific to the construction sector.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and project timelines, ensuring that recruitment efforts align with upcoming project demands.

COMPETENCIES

  • Preferred Trade experience in the following: Ground-up, Civil OR Utility.
  • Skilled in relationship-building and consultative communication.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Extraordinary knowledge and ability to manipulate digital job market platforms.
  • Leading the conversation while building positive and collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration, or similar field
  • Not less than 2 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in similar roles
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus
  • Previous sales experience as an SDR or Account Executive is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • This position will require limited travel. Less than 5% of total time.

Compensation

Competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 annually
