Network/Data Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Assurance Specialist to ensure the consistent quality, reliability, and performance of our network services. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor service health, quickly resolve issues, and collaborate across teams to maintain high customer satisfaction. This role offers the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform baseline pre-checks to validate network and service health, including Media Gateway Control Function (MGCF), Media Gateway hardware, SS7, and trunking systems.
• Utilize KPI and Network Management tools such as PowerBI, Grafana, PNM, NMA, NERS, SOIPS, GRANITE, and RUBY to monitor service performance.
• Monitor and analyze service performance metrics across multiple planned maintenance activities running in parallel.
• Proactively identify, investigate, diagnose, and resolve network issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Capture and document timelines of events during network disruptions or service incidents.
• Conduct post-validation checks to ensure service stability, including confirming call processing, system health, KPI consistency, and absence of abnormal releases.
• Develop and maintain service assurance documentation, including incident reports and performance summaries.
• Ensure continuous service quality and reliability to meet operational and customer satisfaction objectives.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a service assurance or related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in service management and network monitoring tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
