Summary
This is an entry level position for recent engineering (or similar technical degrees) graduates or individuals with applicable tire
manufacturing related experiences. This position will support product development initiatives through the application of
product analysis during tire development. This position will work in a team environment, seeking solutions to technical
challenges, introducing new products for the marketplace, and utilizing lean principles to enhance global standards and
processes.
Responsibilities
AA DEGREE - Minimum
BACHELORS DEGREE – Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, or equivalent technical tire experience.

product analysis during tire development. This position will work in a team environment, seeking solutions to technical
challenges, introducing new products for the marketplace, and utilizing lean principles to enhance global standards and
processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain technical related standards or tire specifications
- Management of product development
- Arranging trial or initial production, evaluation of product quality, grasping problems, planning and implementation of
- Seeking solution of process capability or non-conformance problems
- Use analytical tools to develop products that meet internal and/or external customer requirements
- Support and enhance processes, methods, and procedures significant to product development
- Translate product requirements into product design features
- Work in a team environment towards bringing new product and technologies and techniques to the process
- Presentation of data in a clear and effective manner
- Able to work nights and weekends as necessary
- Good knowledge of structural mechanics and dynamics
- Good knowledge of data analysis tools, especially Microsoft office and Mini tab
- Basic applied statistics, Design of Experiments, cause-and-effect analysis; risk analysis; lean principles
- Ability to accomplish assignments in a logical fashion, using existing technology and standardized methodologies
- Strong communication skills [written/oral] in presenting data and information to others
AA DEGREE - Minimum
BACHELORS DEGREE – Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, or equivalent technical tire experience.
- COOP’s, Internships, or other industrial / manufacturing experience
- 1- 3 Years’ experience with rubber industry preferred
