Job Description:

Role Overview

  • This role provides electrical design, schematic-level support, failure analysis, and production-phase debugging for satellite hardware.
  • Engineers in this role will support both early engineering development and later-stage manufacturing, ensuring components and subcomponents meet performance, reliability, and testability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical design work, including support for high-power transmission lines and satellite electronics.
  • Own and update schematic capture documentation using industry-standard tools.
  • Apply Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure hardware readiness for production.
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for electrical failures—highlighted by the client as one of the most critical skills.
  • Collaborate across Systems, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering to diagnose and resolve electrical issues discovered during testing or production.
  • Support test analysis, ensuring alignment between design intent, test requirements, and manufacturability.
  • Participate in hardware bring-up, test readiness reviews, and design validation activities.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years for exp for Junior electrical engineer and 6+ years of experience for Senior Electrical engineer, performing electrical design work, conducting RCA for electrical failures, and supporting test analysis between design intent, test requirements, and manufacturability
  • Experience in electrical design, ideally with hardware used in aerospace, satellite, or high-reliability environments.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, etc.).
  • Expertise in RCA for electrical and production-related failures (top priority).
  • Strong understanding of DFT and DFM.
  • Familiarity with test analysis, debug workflows, and supporting manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and translate findings into actionable design updates.
