Position: Car Cleaner
Shifts: 2pm-10:30pm (Flexible hours) - Weekend Shifts Only
Pay Rate: $20 an hour

A sign on bonus of $250 is offered to anyone hired for the Car Cleaner position. It will be paid out after you have worked 4 full pay periods. To be eligible, you must still be employed by Republic Parking and be in good standing with the company. The payout is based on various factors including but not limited to individual performance and job attendance.

We are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals that are searching for new opportunities to grow and develop a career in one of North America’s largest parking operators.

This position will be responsible for preparing returned rental vehicles and detailing them to return to the customer rental area. This includes cleaning, washing, vacuuming, removing trash and sanitizing, filling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tire pressures. Other duties include inspecting for auto body damage and checking for dash warning lights. You also may be required to drive and park cars on our airport lot offsite locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per client standard operating procedures
  • Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per client standard operating procedures
  • Wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior
  • Check vehicle exterior, windshield and windows for damage, report damage per standard operating procedures
  • Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth, convey reportable findings per standard operating procedures
  • Check fuel level and warning lights; factory reset vehicle settings to clear customer data
  • Check for customer items and place any found items in lost and found
  • Verify registration is in vehicle, current and matches the vehicle license plate.
  • Check fluid levels and replenish as needed
  • Fuel and stage vehicle
  • Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or safety concerns per standard operating procedures
  • Move vehicle out of the processing area as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available
  • May transport customers to and from other rental car facility
  • Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of work areas
  • Assists customers when needed.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently
