GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Administrator with an active Secret clearance to provide Tier 2 technical support. This position will be located in Arlington, VA, and will be a fully onsite position.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Administrator with an active Secret clearance to provide Tier 2 technical support. This position will be located in Arlington, VA, and will be a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all email administrative requests on both Firebird and DEA Service Manager mail/ticket systems.
- Support all HQ daily tasking, which includes Firebird network, Spider (DOJ Internet) Network router and switches, and DHCP servers.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to all DEA Firebird network routers and switches.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate any issues and risks on the DEA's Firebird network.
- Provide site network engineering design and As-built processes.
- Assist all off-site CSP/Techs in troubleshooting and installing Firebird network equipment.
- Travel to DEA remote sites such as Divisions, ROs, and DOs to perform site surveys, new installations, and site relocations.
- Manage and support Next Generation Network (NGN) implemented by DEA, which consists of Routers, Switches, WLCs, and WAPs, all through the Cisco Identity Services Engine.
- Pre-configure and perform IOS and firmware upgrades on all Routers, Policy Servers, Wireless LAN controllers, and Network switches that support the DEA NGEN & SDA Network before shipping equipment out to a site, before a new install, or equipment replacement.
- Install and support the Security Programs Castle network, which consists of switches, to also include servers and security cameras
- Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years of network administration (or commensurate experience)
- Clearance Required: Active Secret with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability
