Director of System Intragration
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager to lead both software and hardware initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for evaluating and implementing enterprise technologies, ensuring secure and scalable IT operations, and providing hands-on support across all environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to evaluate, select, and procure hardware and software solutions.
- Provide hands-on support for system design and implementation, including physical hardware setup, server builds, network cabling, and full system refreshes across enterprise and remote sites.
- Manage Windows Server (2012–2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Architect and maintain VMware vSphere environments (100+ VMs) with strong focus on high availability, performance, and disaster recovery.
- Oversee Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam ONE for automated backups, monitoring, compliance, and restore operations.
- Deploy and manage upgrades across core platforms (Windows OS, ESXi/vCenter, Meraki, Cisco, Rapid7, Microsoft 365, KnowBe4, Deskpro, Lansweeper), including after-hours maintenance as needed.
- Implement cybersecurity controls including SIEM, endpoint protection, phishing simulations, and MFA.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (licensing, SharePoint/Exchange Online, conditional access, dynamic groups).
- Coordinate with external vendors on network upgrades, penetration testing, and infrastructure improvements.
- Provide executive-level technical support and serve as an escalation point for Tier 1–3 support teams.
- Oversee remote-site infrastructure, including server upgrades, wireless deployments, and system performance standards.
- Support key enterprise applications (e.g., Lawson, Raiser’s Edge, Laserfiche, SQL, Kronos, Frevvo).
- Lead IT operations for office relocations, hardware refreshes, and system migrations.
- Develop advanced PowerShell and DOS scripts to automate and improve operational efficiency.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science preferred).
- 5+ years of IT management experience with direct end-user interaction.
- Strong knowledge of networking hardware/software (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Understanding of web technologies, including backend database integration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange.
- Excellent customer service, communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and experience developing and executing project plans.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, peers, and technical teams.
Compensation: $180,000-195,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
