Join Cognizant's high-profile client project as a Hardware Support Engineer, maintaining imagery hardware and sensors. This role offers the chance to work with advanced client-designed equipment, manage technical projects, and become a subject matter expert in hardware troubleshooting, contributing to critical global initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist engineering teams testing advanced client-designed equipment.
• Manage field support technical projects.
• Analyze common hardware failures by testing and debugging specific electronics.
• Support the development of documentation for test procedures and reports.
• Act as a SME reviewing hardware support troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Identify common intermittent faults and analyze their cause and repair.
What You'll Need:
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Expert knowledge of hand tools, light power tools, and hardware types.
• Intermediate knowledge of Linux.
• Working knowledge of ticketing systems, Gmail, and Google Calendar.
• Familiarity with various testing techniques and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel, often on short notice, and a valid passport.
