Job purpose

As an AI Research Analyst, you will be responsible for staying at the forefront of artificial intelligence advancements, conducting in-depth research, and providing strategic insights to guide decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Market Research:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes in the field of artificial intelligence.
• Analyze market reports, white papers, and industry publications to stay informed about the latest developments.
• Technology Assessment:
• Evaluate and assess the capabilities of AI technologies, algorithms, and models.
• Stay abreast of advancements in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI subfields.
• Competitive Intelligence:
• Monitor and analyze the activities of competitors in the AI space.
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to inform strategic decision-making.
• Research Planning and Execution:
• Develop research plans and methodologies for investigating specific AI-related topics.
• Execute research projects, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis of findings.

• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to gather insights and align research goals with organizational objectives.
• Insights and Reporting:
• Generate clear and concise reports summarizing research findings.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to guide business strategy and product development.

• Knowledge Dissemination:
• Share research findings through internal presentations, workshops, and written documentation.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning by keeping the team informed about the latest AI trends.
• Ethical Considerations:
• Stay informed about ethical considerations and implications related to AI technologies.

Working conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

5-10% travel possible.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AI research, market analysis, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with academic and industrial research literature in AI.

• Furniture industry knowledge
• 2-5 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence
