Our challenge

We are looking for an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer to build foundational capabilities like enabling bulk upload of data feeds required for testing, integrating with core target state platform to consume OCR'd documents and handling additional Test results response types. The resource will be responsible to deliver the required capability and meet the technology units vision.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is $105K - $110K/Year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with overall business strategy
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Jenkins or other CI system
  • Cloud Engineering (cloud computing) experience with Openshift, AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Design and maintain CI/CD process and tools
  • Docker experience with Kubernetes container orchestration
  • Experience with YAML config management tools like Helm/Ansible
  • Setting up monitoring and alerts
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
  • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
  • Experience with Agile processes
