Network Engineer (Kennesaw, GA)

Position Overview

The Network Engineer will support Artivion with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and firewall infrastructure, working under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Installation and Configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing network problems and performance
• Monitoring and reporting on network performance and availability
• Assist with implementing and maintaining security measures and protocols
• Colaborate with other team members and departments to support network solutions
• Maintain documentation of network infrastructure and configuration
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience working with network protocols (IP,TCP, UDP), network hardware, and software
• Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Ability to analyze network issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work effectively with other team members and cross-functional teams
• A desire to learn and grow in the field of network engineering
