SUMMARY:
Here at Dunlop Sports, quality is the cornerstone of our success in both golf and tennis equipment. As the Quality Engineer your role in the Quality department is to support our mission to provide the highest quality products to our customers. The quality systems coordinator is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the quality of all products and services within our organization.
This position requires a technically inclined, highly organized individual, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally as part of a team. A successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to understand our current systems and strive to find ways to improve our processes and controls. As a key part of the QMS team, you will successfully drive our organization to improve the quality of our processes and procedures.
a Day In The Life Of The Quality Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University in an engineering discipline or 3+ years of QA Engineering experience instead of education experience with quality management principles, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.
2+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience within manufacturing or equivalent
Language Ability
Ability to read and write English, Spanish not required but preferred.
Math Ability
Strong statistical skillset with the ability to understand data and parameters for reporting. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to understand, communicate, and test on user needs and requirements. Ability to understand and categorize defects in terms of severity and priority.
Computer Skills
Exceptional computer skills are required. Previous experience with eQMS Software, SQL database query, Statistical Programming Software, JIRA, or similar programs preferred.

a Day In The Life Of The Quality Coordinator
- Advocate for Quality in the Organization
- Responsible for the Quality Management Software operating efficiently and effectively to support manufacturing environments.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality or process improvement plans and projects.
- Establish and maintain effective quality control systems and processes to ensure that all products and services meet quality standards.
- NCR (Nonconformance reporting) Processes
- Root Cause Analysis
- CAPA – Corrective and Preventative Actions
- Kaizen Leader
- Internal Audit Programs
- Document Management – QMS documentation
- Provide hands-on support to Quality processes and activities, including but not limited to:
- Quality plan processes, calibration processes, measurement equipment, testing processes, return material authorization activities, and nonconforming activities.
- Assist Quality Management and Manufacturing Management with accept/reject criteria, defect classification, and test methods including inspection procedures for components, assembly, and finished goods.
- Supporting leadership with document management processes including training related to; work instructions, operating processes, policy, and general guidance for writing technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- EXPERIENCE or CERTIFIED in LEAN / SIX SIGMA PREFERRED
- EXPERIENCE WITH ISO 9001:2015 PREFERED
- EXPERIENCE WITH EQMS SOFTWARE PREFERED
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH QUALITY FUNCTIONS IN MANUFACTURING
- EXPERIENCE IN THE GOLF INDUSTRY EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL
