Senior Network Engineer / Palo Alto / VXLAN / Remote

This full-time Network Engineer opportunity is remote and supports a rapidly growing technology organization operating in a multi-cloud and on premises environment. The team focuses on high availability infrastructure, modern networking principles, cloud connectivity, and next-generation security technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years working in Windows/Linux/Cloud environments
• 6+ years in enterprise level network/system design and support
• Expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
• Experience with Juniper (preferred), Cisco, and/or Aruba switches
• EVPN VXLAN, OSPF, and BGP routing
• VLAN design & implementation
• IPSec VPN technologies
• Network security fundamentals including ACL design, NAC/802.1x
• Authentication technologies: LDAP/Active Directory, RADIUS
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Perl, and/or Python
• Disaster Recovery planning & implementation
• Monitoring tools for fault detection and forensic investigations
• Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to config management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.)
• SASE/Prisma experience
• Preferred certifications: PCNSA, PCNSE, JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, CCSP, ITIL

• Load balancing experience (HAProxy preferred)
• Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python)
• Experience deploying Palo Alto VM appliances in cloud platforms
• Familiarity working with Arista switching platforms
