Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Juniper Mist switching and wireless technologies, as well as Cisco switching, to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure using Juniper Mist switching and wireless solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switching environments.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration and upgrades.
• Implement network security best practices and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
• Conduct regular network assessments and recommend improvements.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to networking.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Five years’ proven experience with Juniper Mist & Cisco switching and wireless platforms.
• Previous Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco switching technologies and protocols.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• JNCIS (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist) is REQUIRED.
• CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional) is PREFERRED.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.
