Manufacturing Process Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

  • Your primary responsibility will be to analyze production processes to identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • You will develop and optimize process parameters for atomized products and powder classification/sizing systems to improve yield, quality, and throughput
  • Further you will provide hands-on technical support to production and maintenance teams to resolve daily production issues and implement robust corrective actions
  • Develop manufacturing routings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for new and existing products
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports on process performance metrics
  • Conduct process trials and validation runs, collecting and analyzing data to ensure processes are optimized
  • Serve as the primary technical lead for the installation and startup of new equipment
  • Also, you will lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

What Makes You Great

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or other related Engineering or Engineering Technology field required
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial process environment required
  • The ideal candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks/projects in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • You should have demonstrated experience in analytical and data-driven process improvement, troubleshooting, and applying engineering principles on the plant floor
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, statistical analytical software (Minitab), and AutoCAD
