Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Type: 12+ Months Contract-to-Hire (W2 Only)

Bill Rate: DOE

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 2 days/week onsite at office or data center

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have 3 7 years of hands-on experience operating in a data center environment, with solid understanding of power, space, and system event management.

This role requires a professional who can ensure uptime, efficiency, and seamless operations across our data centers. Candidates should also possess basic network engineering skills and a proactive approach to managing critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations within the data center, ensuring uptime and stability.

Manage power, cooling, and physical infrastructure within the data center.

Support system and event management to identify and resolve operational issues promptly.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT and network teams to maintain system performance.

Participate in regular maintenance, audits, and capacity planning.

Required Experience & Skills:

3 to 7 years in data center operations or infrastructure support.

Knowledge of power, space, and environmental management principles.

Basic network engineering and troubleshooting capabilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work onsite 2 days per week in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Interview Process:

1st Round: Technical & exploratory discussion with the hiring manager and team members.

Final Round: Meeting with the Director.

Travel: May be required once a year to San Francisco, Oakland, or Virginia.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $50 - $52 per hour on W2.
