What You Will Be Doing

The Associate Project Manager, OEM will lead the end-to-end delivery of OEM and Private Label programs from engineering through launch, and post-launch support. This role ensures high-quality execution, manages project timelines and budgets, and aligns internal operations teams with customer expectations. The Associate Project Manager coordinates directly with the Sales Team to maintain strong customer relationships, serve as the internal customer advocate, and ensure seamless delivery of program milestones.

Salary Range

$101,200-126,100 USD annually

  • Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individualâs related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of assigned OEM and Private Label programs—from kickoff and planning through SOP (Start of Production) and sustained production, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are met.
  • Act as the primary internal liaison for OEM and Private Label customers, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and logistics to ensure program alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a diverse range of projects simultaneously, balancing varying levels of complexity and priority with a well-rounded, adaptable approach.
  • Develop and maintain development schedules, scope of work documentation, and milestones; monitor progress, mitigate risks, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team alignment—including pre-launch validation, engineering change management, and launch readiness phases.
  • Apply APQP methodologies and lead PPAP activities to support program validation and ensure OEM requirements are met before product launch.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements and drive continuous process enhancements to optimize programs and procedures.
  • Provide regular documentation, status reports, and presentations to internal stakeholders and OEM customers as needed.
  • Working knowledge of database software, ERP, and Microsoft Office to manage activities and reporting.
  • Interpret and analyze CAD drawings and blueprints to accurately assess project requirements to ensure alignment with Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Light travel may be required to attend trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and other industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant program/project management experience working for a manufacturer.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a growth-focused, project-diverse environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certifications such as PMP, MPM, or CPMP are desirable but not required.
