Summary Of Position

The Painter works closely with the build team, is responsible for painting manufactured tooling per customer requirements.

Essential Functions

• Application of paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications/requirements.
• Mask manufacturing tooling using tape and masking material in preparation for painting.
• Deburr and sand parts, ensuring they are ready to be painted per schedule.
• Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment.
• Mix paints and solutions according to specifications.
• Check parts ensuring they are ready to be painted per schedule.
• Move equipment in and out of preparation and paint booth areas using a forklift and crane
• Coordinate with build teams on priority jobs and assist as needed.
• Must be able to multi-task/shift priorities when needed.
• Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
  
  

Required Skills, Education, And Experience

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required. For further details as to how a “U.S. Person” is determined, please see SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS below!

May be required to travel to other site locations during the workday and would primarily be local during the business day. However, some projects may require overnight stays as well as out-of-the-area travel paid for by the business.

• Work with safe manufacturing processes and understanding that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area
