Product Development Manager/Packaging Contract Manufacturing

Job Title: Senior Product Development Associate - Packaging & Components Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week in Bayonne, NJ) Schedule: Full-Time 8am to 4.30pm EST Monday to Friday

About the Role: We are seeking a Product Development Associate to join our growing team. This role will focus on sourcing packaging and components, ensuring that our products are developed with the highest quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with contract manufacturers and a strong understanding of the manufacturing process.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2-3 times per week to evaluate samples, collaborate cross-functionally, and support product launches. Remote-only candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and manage packaging and component suppliers.
• Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure timelines, quality, and cost goals are met.
• Review samples on-site and provide feedback for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Quality.
• Track project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Troubleshoot issues in manufacturing and packaging processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, or manufacturing (beauty or consumer goods preferred).
• Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing and product development lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience evaluating and testing samples.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
