Summary / Position Purpose:
The Educational and National Business Development Specialist role has direct responsibility for building brand equity, sales, and achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for TestEquity’s product portfolio across multiple categories. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with making outbound phone calls, generating interest with customers, qualifying prospects and closing sales. You are enthusiastic about the business and are an independent thinker with team spirit!

Essential Duties, Functions And/or Responsibilities
- Explain and demonstrate TestEquity’s capabilities, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospects
- Effectively collaborate with team members to improve processes and drive revenue/customer growth
- Research and develop new leads and opportunities
- Maintain national and educational relationships within the company as well as contacts to business partners, important decision-makers, and the expansion of customer reach
- Support and drive company initiatives to achieve National and EDU goals
- Work collaboratively with Sales Leadership to support customers’ infrastructure requirements, developing and providing technical solutions to meet their needs
- Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders and provide strategic advice on the Company's go-to-market efforts
- Create and confidently deliver presentations internally to key stakeholders
- Deliver prepared sales presentations, utilizing support material describing products or services, to help existing and potential customers
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners
- Attend meetings, trade shows, when necessary, with customers, OEMs, and AMs to determine business requirements
- Indirectly responsible for product quality
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales role
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our customers internally and externally.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide successful solutions
- Creative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High personal accountability for self and others
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong working knowledge of CRM (Dynamics)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Power Point, Excel, and Word
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
