Position: Medical Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking an amazing individual to join our busy and thriving Family Practice! Our ideal candidate is bubbly, energetic, and able to bring positivity into every interaction. You should be patient, efficient, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced medical environment.

Because our office has a very high in-office flow, we need someone who is resilient, flexible, and willing to wear many hats when needed. Most importantly, were looking for a team member who can laugh, connect, and create a welcoming environment for our patients, even during stressful times.

Responsibilities:

• Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.)
• Preparing patients for exams and procedures
• Assisting providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Administering injections, vaccines, or medications as directed by the provider
• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
• Performing basic lab tests and point-of-care testing
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining exam room cleanliness
• Conducting EKGs and other basic diagnostic tests
• Providing patient education and instructions for care or medications
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certificate / Diploma
• Must have excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
• Must be able to multi-task in a very busy environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Epic software experience preferred
  
  
  

Work Schedule

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:40am-5:20pm.
  
  
  

Compensation

• Starts range is $21-$22, depending on experience
