Onboarding Technical Specialist

Location: Lakewood, NJ (In-office)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00/1:00 PM

Position Summary

Moments Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Onboarding Technical Specialist to support our People & Culture and IT departments in ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience for new team members. This role will focus on preparing technical resources, coordinating system access, and assisting with training to set new hires up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure laptops, phones, and other equipment for new employees.
• Ensure proper setup of email, software applications, and system access.
• Provide first-day technical support to new hires during onboarding.
• Maintain and update onboarding checklists and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR and Hiring Managers to ensure new employees receive necessary tools and resources.
• Track and report progress of onboarding tasks to leadership.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist with training new employees on system basics and company platforms.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or administrative onboarding preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and common business software.
• Willingness to work in-office at our Lakewood, NJ location.
