Essential Duties And Responsibilities
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Generally, requires a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting in a high-volume accounting department.

External: Financial and tax auditors and consultants and bank representatives.
JUDGEMENT/REASONING ABILITY: Ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise, and diplomacy. Requires ability to use judgment and reasoning skills and determine when issues need to be escalated.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform month end close functions including journal entry postings and post-close balance analysis
- Work with the organization to ensure that entries into assigned balance sheet accounts are correct and processes have the proper controls
- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare and monitor bank transactions and assist with cash flow projections
- Regulatory reporting
- Support financial and tax audit
- Tax filings and support (federal, state/provincial, city tax, 1099s, etc)
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support budget preparations and additional special projects as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Generally, requires a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting in a high-volume accounting department.
- Understanding of the key accounting principles (IFRS and/or US GAAP)
- Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
- ERP systems knowledge in SAP is a plus.
