About the Job

Who We Are Looking For

Are you the Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) Clinician we’ve been searching for? In this position, you will be conveying your passion for helping others as part of a small, dedicated team (inclusive of a FIT Clinician and a Family Partner) working with youth and families!

Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) is a new service within JRI's Community Service Agencies that provides a combination of medically necessary intensive family therapy, robust care coordination, and Family Partner engagement for eligible youth with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and their families. You will focus on improving the youth’s mental health concerns, while strengthening the family structure and support. Our staff provide the FIT service in home and community settings and facilitate a consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship with the families we serve.

This is a salaried position with a designated number of families to work with; it does not have a unit-based productivity requirement in the FIT Support Worker role.

Salary: $75,000 - $79,000 per year

JRI Provides The Training So That

  • You will provide intensive family therapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and assessments.
  • You will design and deliver focused, strategic, evidence-based interventions and behavioral techniques to build skills, safety planning, strengthen family dynamics, and may prevent the need for the youth’s admission to an inpatient hospital, psychiatric residential treatment facility, or other treatment setting.
  • You will serve as a vital member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that works together to find the best and most effective methods of guiding and supporting youth and their families.
  • You will use your skills to develop a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship with the youth and families you work with in order to help improve the youth’s behavioral health needs, including improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote their healthy functioning within the family.
  • You will use your passion to provide culturally competent, trauma-informed, confidential clinical services to guide care for the youth at the center of your care.
  • You will provide consultation to collaterals including schools and medical service providers to help the youth you serve navigate their lives with more support.
