The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can work cross-functionally with production, purchasing, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, open orders, and capacity.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to align labor and machine availability with scheduling priorities.
- Monitor schedule adherence and proactively adjust for changes in demand, material availability, or machine downtime.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to support uninterrupted production.
- Perform regular cycle counts, root cause analysis for variances, and corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with purchasing on replenishment requirements, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Oversee material movements, transfers, and consumption reporting to ensure timely and accurate system entries.
- Generate and analyze production and inventory reports to identify trends, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track key metrics such as schedule attainment, inventory accuracy, lead times, and on-time delivery.
- Provide visibility to leadership on material shortages, capacity constraints, and order fulfillment risks.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve scheduling accuracy, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Implement best practices for production planning and inventory management in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation and records for scheduling and inventory processes.
Education & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in production scheduling, inventory control, or supply chain management (manufacturing environment strongly preferred).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems required (Katana, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, reporting, dashboards).
- Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and documentation practices is a plus.

- Office and manufacturing floor setting with regular interaction across production, procurement, and logistics.
- May require occasional extended hours to meet production deadlines.
- Time will be split between the production floor—where exposure to machinery, noise, and standard factory conditions is expected—and office-based tasks at a computer workstation.
- Must be comfortable with extended periods of sitting at a desk as well as standing/walking within the factory.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when on the production floor.
- May require occasional extended hours to meet production deadlines.
