Program Manager - Process Safety

Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive excellence and improvements in process safety. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process safety and program management, with expertise in managing complex initiatives and leading cross-functional teams.



Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting
• Manage and direct cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of corrective actions, projects, and initiatives
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
• Communicate complex technical projects to non-technical stake holders
• Analyze program data and metrics to optimize process safety performance, minimize risks, and identify areas for improvement
• Drive and implement process and procedure improvements across the organization
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and RAGAGEP (Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices) to ensure continuous improvement of PSM and RMP programs
  
  
  
  

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Candidate is self-driven, proactive, and influential
• Candidate has expert communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, with a focus on process safety and regulatory compliance in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and programs, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
  
  
  
  

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 10 years of experience in program management, with a focus on process safety and regulatory compliance in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Certification in program management, such as PMP or Agile
• Experience administering or managing PSM programs
• Familiarity with lean or six sigma methodologies, and experience with process improvement initiatives
  
  
  

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
