What To Expect
Tesla is looking for a Commissioning Manager to oversee mulitiple construction projects and oversee the Commissioning team that supports new and existing construction projects at Gigafactory Nevada.
What You'll Do
Determine manpower requirements and staff composition for planning and executing commissioning activities, while managing the overall commissioning budget Develop and maintain the detailed commissioning and startup schedule, interfacing closely with project controls to ensure accurate data representation Manage the development of system limits and boundaries in collaboration with the Completions Coordinator, and oversee the review/acceptance of Turnover Completion Package records for system turnover across all project phases Manage turnover of systems to the end user, including oversight and approval of Integrated System Test (IST) plans Organize and manage daily commissioning meetings, execution of commissioning completion walk-downs, and project energy isolation processes (including LOTO) Implement and communicate commissioning procedures/processes to all project team members, ensuring appropriate utilization of the completions management system Communicate critical issues that may delay systems completion to relevant stakeholders Align stakeholders across Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Facilities, and Manufacturing on systems completion requirements
What You'll Bring
8+ years commissioning experience in oil and gas or large capital projects Degree in Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience Great organizational skills Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision Commitment to safety Flexible and able to adapt to current and new company requirements Effectively interact and coordinate with other departments Proficient with Completion Management Systems (CxAlloy, Pims, WinPCS, Mancon, or equivalent) is a plus
