Prodrome Sciences, a specialty blood test laboratory, supplement manufacturing, and research company that is growing rapidly, is seeking a hardworking, smart and dependable Laboratory Technician with at least 1 year of lab experience, instrumentation, and willing to learn, or already knows, how to repair mass specs to join our Analytical Laboratory in Temecula, CA. The position is full-time. Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm. You will be part of a team of like-minded, talented and fun individuals that is helping make a difference in people's lives. Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments independently and accurately
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain and record results accurately in laboratory notebooks and electronically
- Organize and store chemicals and compressed gases according to safety instructions
- Operate/maintain/calibrate equipment
- Purchase and maintain supplies and consumables inventory
- Ensure safety guidelines are strictly adhered to
- Dispose chemicals and biohazardous waste appropriately
- 1-2 years of proven experience in a relevant role
- Degree/Associate degree in health sciences, chemistry, or a relevant field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently, autonomously, and as part of a team
