Admissions Director

CareCore at Mary Scott is seeking a compassionate and organized Admissions Director to join our team! This is a vital role responsible for guiding new residents and their families through the admissions process and ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition into our facility. This position is on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all internal admissions and bed management processes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and referral sources during the admission process
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, and business office teams to ensure a seamless admission experience
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal guidelines
• Provide facility tours and respond to inquiries with professionalism and warmth
• Support census development efforts and promote CareCore at Mary Scott’s reputation in the community
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience with the Medicare and Medicaid precertification process is required
• Previous experience in admissions, healthcare, or long-term care setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and capable of learning various healthcare systems and databases
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment
