Responsible for leading multiple elements of designated PRN research projects. Key resource to senior leadership on designated research projects. Designs and implements work-flows which facilitate start-up and progression of studies, and contributes to all other study start-up activities. Contributes to the methodological planning and statistical analyses of assigned PRN projects. Acts as project manager and key resource for select studies. Contributes to manuscript development and publishing at all stages.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops and directs designated aspects of timelines and processes from study start-up to completion/closeout, including study materials development, personnel delegation consultations, and statistical methodology planning and execution
  • Tracks and reports to department director all progress and hindrances to established work flows for all designated phases of each specific study. Provide solutions to hindrances
  • Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with key study personnel, serving as liaison to both external sponsor/client and internal staff. Maintains confidentiality
  • Partners with Behavioral Health's Practice Research Network (PRN) Director in creating study budgets and reports
  • Designs and develops programs and databases. Manipulates and analyzes data from internal data sources and customized data sets. Works closely with Associate Director and biostatistician on all statistical tasks
  • Oversees all aspects of research regulatory processes and documentation for clinical trials. Performs related duties as generated by requirements and regulations of the study sponsor
  • Serves as primary liaison in regulatory processes; coordinating processes and timelines with the IRB administrator, study coordinator and sponsor. Responsible for submission of studies to the Institution Review Board (IRB) and following through on other related documentation
  • Participates in the PRN research manuscript development process. Works with internal and external staff to prioritize manuscript projects. Delegates responsibilities to co-authors and staff. Mentors staff needing support in this area
  • Participates in grant-writing and study protocol development activities for the PRN, working collaboratively with various staff across RMG and UHG as appropriate
  • Creates and sustains an environment that promotes accountability, teamwork, collaboration, and change. Leads and acts as a role model for staff to foster values, vision, and mission of the department and Reliant as a whole
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and agencies. Develops and maintains procedures necessary to meet regulatory requirements
  • Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.
  • Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is required

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional research experience
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with staff and project stakeholders, and manage individual research projects
  • Demonstrated skills in the area of research methodology and statistical analyses
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Proven excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
