Groundskeeper- RMA

Purpose

Primarily responsible for housekeeping, cleaning and various manual labor duties.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

Performance must reflect an appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.   

                

• Housekeeping of common areas (excluding offices) like: Warehouse, Blending, Maintenance Shop, concrete truck court, rail-road tracks, parking lots, retention pond (as required) and any other area indicated by Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure areas mentioned before are clean and free of “fugitive” pellets (“Floor Sweep” - spill control).
• Ensure all drain baskets (30x30” and round drains) from truck court and blending Ops’ areas are clean and free of pellets.
• Pick-up litter and trash from ground and landscaping areas.
• Pick-up trash and recycled items from designated cleaning stations and dumpsters.
• Perform cleaning tasks as indicated by direct Supervisor.
• Work following safety practices and company rules and policies.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
• Identify potential hazards and report to immediate supervisor.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
• Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility Standard.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Licenses / Certifications:
• Forklift certification
  
  

Work Environment / Conditions

The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience.

• This job primarily operates in a warehouse setting and must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
• Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
