We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Manager to oversee and lead operations across our three Asheville restaurant locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering a high-performing team culture. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences aligned with the Green Sage mission.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Coordinate daily operations across all restaurants to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements, consistency, and efficiency.
- Manage district-level P&L, budgets, and financial performance.
- Analyze financial reports, set performance targets, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor restaurant managers and their teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Monitor KPIs including sales, labor, food cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure operational effectiveness and team accountability.
- Champion a guest-first culture across all locations, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and hospitality.
- Address escalated customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Green Sage policies, food safety protocols, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Experience: 3–5+ years in multi-unit restaurant management; QSR or fast-casual experience preferred.
- Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret data, set goals, and make informed, impactful decisions.
- Financial Acumen: Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Talent Development: Ability to attract, develop, and retain top management talent.
- Store Visits: Frequent travel to each Green Sage location to support and guide on-site teams.
- Team Meetings: Regular check-ins with restaurant managers to review performance, goals, and operational issues.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct formal and informal evaluations, providing clear feedback and development plans.
- Problem-Solving: Actively resolve operational, staffing, or service issues that impact guest experience or profitability.
- Travel between Merrimon, Downtown, and South Asheville locations as needed (up to 25–50% of the time).
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
