Position responsibilities include the following:
- Answer incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette to take dining and special event reservations, and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Greet each club member and guest upon his or her arrival. Direct members and guests to the proper area when necessary.
- Escort vendors, public officials, and all other non-members or guests to the appropriate area.
- Assist the General Manager, Membership Director, and Communications Manager with mailings, website updates/changes, member files, email blasts, promotional & marketing materials as needed.
- General clerical and receptionist duties – distribute incoming mail.
- Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and forms.
- Assist with the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Ensure work area, coat closet, lobby, copy room, and reception area is kept neat and clean.
- Must be outgoing and friendly and have a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- May include cross-training in other functions or positions to ensure satisfactory operation of the department or work area.
