POSITION SUMMARY:

Serve as point of contact for the new providers with a focus on an exceptional provider

experience and ensure productive relationship management from agreement through contract

end. Establish and maintain provider relationships and engagement, to ensure long-term

retention with the Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). Ensure new providers including those for

Health First Medical Group (HFMG), Medical Services Organization (MSO), Medical Staff,

Independent Contractors, Staffing Agency, and Facility Coverage, successfully begin practice on

agreed upon start date. Partner with Provider Relations Specialists to collaborate on the

onboarding process to ensure successful on time start.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with various departments across the IDN, including but not limited to, HFMG

Operations, Hospital/ Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Human Resources, Medical Staff

Services, Payer Credentialing, Marketing, and Business Development, to ensure continuity in

the provider’s onboarding experience and necessary completion of onboarding requirements.

  • Demonstrate relationship building, influencing, conflict and problem resolution to

ensure a positive provider experience.

  • Build long-term retention through continuous provider follow up sessions, provider

recognition, and milestone events to ensure positive provider experience.

  • Connect new providers with established providers, as part of the personal and professional

mentorship program, with a goal to establish and engage them with the organization and

Brevard County.

  • Maintain the onboarding & retention Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application

for all new physicians and advanced practice providers by tracking progress leading up to

and through start date. Provide regular status updates to Health First Medical Group

(HFMG), Medical Services Organization (MSO), Medical Staff, and Service Line stakeholders

in the IDN.

  • Develop the provider’s orientation schedule in collaboration with operations leadership and

Business Development to ensure they are properly orientated with the organization.

  • Coordinating with the provider and State of Florida to ensure completion of necessary

documents to timely obtain medical licenses prior to deadline to ensure an on time start.

  • Plan orientation programs for the IDN, Medical Group, and Hospitals/ Ambulatory Surgery

Centers (ASC) to properly train providers on culture, role expectations, and resources.

Work Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate degree
  • Work Experience: in healthcare, sales, human resources, provider relations, or customer
  • service
  • Certification – N/A
  • License: N/A
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Relationship management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Work Experience: 2 years of related work experience, working directly with providers,
  • working in an Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) or large healthcare system
  • Certification: N/A
  • Licensure: N/A
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Salesforce CRM experience
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Sedentary Work - sitting most of the time. Occasional walking, standing, bending,
  • stooping, lifting, or maneuvering up to 10 pounds. Majority of time performs work in an
  • office setting – noise level low; As needed, may be required to travel in personal vehicle to
  • /from Health First locations and within service area, and occasionally may need to travel
  • outside of service area.
