We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Temporary International Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles. This role will support the day-to-day operations of our International Sales team, with a strong emphasis on the APAC market. This role is expected to last a minimum of six months and is ideal for someone who possesses a strong understanding of global business etiquette, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Our target hourly range for this role is between $21 to $25. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across various aspects of the International business, ensuring efficient operations and communication.
- Manage the daily and long-term calendar for assigned members of the International team, prioritizing meetings, projects, and deliverables.
- Coordinate directly with clients, partners, and local stakeholders to support business development efforts.
- Assist in the preparation, follow-up, and tracking of strategic outreach and deal activity related to territory-based distributors, platforms, and buyers.
- Translate key sales materials to meet international team needs, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency across markets.
- Support senior executives with travel, including logistics, itinerary planning, and preparation of customized market-facing materials.
- Serve as a cultural and language liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Coordinate external sales meetings for sales executives during key film markets, accommodating global time zones and multilingual clients.
- Arrange comprehensive international travel logistics including flights, visas, accommodations, and local transportation for members of the team.
- Compile and prepare sales decks, one-sheets, market overviews, and other materials needed for meetings, markets, and strategic projects.
- Track and submit expense reports and assist with processing of vendor invoices and other financial documentation.
- Coordinate client-facing activities such as dinners, events, and gifting.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, sales, or international-facing support role; entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with sensitivity to cross-cultural communication and diplomacy.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during markets and festivals.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other project management or CRM tools (e.g., Airtable, Salesforce).
- Passion for international film and media is a plus.
