Job Description
The Recordkeeping Specialist is responsible for the daily maintenance of the Employee Benefits (Retirement Accounts) recordkeeping system within the Wealth Management division. In collaboration with the investment management team, the recordkeeping specialist will assist in all phases of routine account administration.
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Job Description
The Recordkeeping Specialist is responsible for the daily maintenance of the Employee Benefits (Retirement Accounts) recordkeeping system within the Wealth Management division. In collaboration with the investment management team, the recordkeeping specialist will assist in all phases of routine account administration.
- Process distributions from retirement accounts through: sending and receiving paperwork; verifying vested balances and signatures; monitoring balances for force out eligibility.
- Annually process all required distributions based on age requirements and eligibility.
- Serve as back up to all Recordkeeping desks primarily Distribution and Trading Desks.
- Assist with the verification of participants by plan in order to complete annual compliance testing and preparation of the 5500 form.
- Answer client inquiries from the internal recorded phone line and process transfer requests along with the follow-up documentation.
- Perform audit on 1099Rs generated versus distribution reporting.
- Monitor and resolve outstanding checks for distributions on a monthly basis.
- Work with more complex plans and special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years office experience
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish languages
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
- Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
