Mechanical Design Engineer

Let’s go to work . . . I’m needing a Mechanical Design Engineer in Erie, PA. Successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design of industrial high voltage cabinets - sheet metal fabrications used to house high voltage electrical equipment used in the propulsion system of mining vehicles and locomotives.

Additional Duties Will Be

Designing mechanical enclosures for electrical equipment assemblies for shock and vibration loads.

• Design of sheet metal fabrications.
• Designing cast and molded components.
• Design of machined and fabricated components.
• GD&T and weld specifications on drawings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in the field of electrical mechanical packaging and thermal design.
• Strong NX, Ansys Workbench experience
  
  

Long term, onsite, contract assignment in Erie, PA. Pay Rate is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour.
