What To Expect
The Residential Energy Demand Planning team collaborates with global sales, manufacturing, engineering, product, and finance teams to drive the rapid expansion of Tesla’s residential energy products worldwide. As a Demand Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in forecasting demand for products such as Powerwall, Solar Roof, and PV Inverters, while supporting long-term capacity planning and data-driven decision-making. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will contribute to sustainable energy operations and gain valuable experience in demand planning. What You'll Do
Assist in forecasting global sales for residential energy products by analyzing historical data and integrating future volume levers Contribute to the sales and operations planning process by gathering data and supporting cross-functional coordination with various teams Monitor key performance indicators and identify potential risks or discrepancies in demand forecasts, escalating findings to leadership Collaborate with finance to support scenario analyses for new product introductions and business growth initiatives Maintain and update operational models and tools to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency Provide administrative support for cross-functional meetings, including preparing data summaries and presentations
What You'll Bring
Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience 2-5 years of experience in business operations, supply chain, data analysis, consulting, or related fields Interest in the energy industry and sustainable energy solutions Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across different functions Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Expected Compensation
$86,400 - $129,600/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
