Job Description:
- The Company’s Law Function is seeking a strategic and dynamic Product Owner to guide its Data & Insights product line.

As Product Owner, you will:
- Own and execute product goals and priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities.
- Lead initiatives that transform legal data into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives and user needs.
- Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity, alignment, and readiness for development teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, engineering, and business units to gather requirements and validate solutions.
- Agile Delivery: Facilitate backlog refinement ceremonies, ensure ADO hygiene, and promote shared ownership across teams.
- Documentation: Lead and contribute to the development of product documentation.
- Learning & Development: Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in application integrations, APIs, data products, data ingestion and transformation, and AI.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure product releases adhere to company standards and guardrails.
- You’ll work closely with other Law Platform product lines (governance, risk and compliance, matter management, transactions) and report to the Product Manager for Data & Insights.
- Align and Inspire - Proven ability to align diverse perspectives and inspire teams through creativity, positivity, and a customer-first mindset. Encourages and emulates, creative, outside the box thinking to elevate initiatives.
- Build Relationships - Strong relationship-building skills across functions and organizations, with a collaborative and improvement-focused approach.
- Digital Acumen - Demonstrated digital acumen in identifying data-driven opportunities and guiding technology decisions aligned with business goals.
- Awareness of data analytics, data science and AI capabilities to articulate potential opportunities
- Deliver Results - Translates business strategy to action and comfortably navigates through ambiguity and competing priorities to deliver business value.
- Proven track record of delivering results leveraging data or data related initiatives.
- Strong Agile experience with rapid decision making and iterative product development.
Requirements:
- Product Management Expertise: Deep understanding of product lifecycle, value frameworks, and agile delivery models.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align product initiatives with broader business goals and translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working with diverse teams across legal, technical, and operational domains.
- Documentation: Skilled in drafting and reviewing product documentation.
- Agile & ADO Proficiency: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, and PI planning practices.
- Communication & Facilitation: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions and workshops.
- Technical Acumen: Proven ability to stay current with and apply advancements in application integrations, APIs, data products, data ingestion and transformation, and AI technologies to drive innovation and improve data solutions.
The hiring range for this position is $72.00 to $82.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
