Position: Regional Director of Operations– Memphis, TN

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: Bass Pro Shops Pyramid – Memphis, TN (on-site)

Salary: Salary commensurate with experience, including a full benefits package

FLSA: Full-Time Exempt

Job Summary

The Regional Director of Operations – Memphis, TN, is the on-site leader responsible for the full operational performance of a high-volume, multi-concept venue located within the iconic Bass Pro Shops Pyramid.

This unique destination includes company restaurants:

  • Wahlburgers Full-Service Restaurant
  • Fishbowl Bar & Bowling Alley
  • Cypress Lodge/The Lookout Full-Service Restaurant
  • In Room Dining Service
  • Banquets/Catering


Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role manages all food and beverage outlets, ensuring operational excellence and the highest standards of service. Direct reports include the General Managers of Wahlburgers, Cypress Lodge/The Lookout, the Banquet Manager, as well as the In-Room Dining Service Manager, Event Sales Manager, and Facilities Managers. This team is responsible for maintaining brand consistency, team engagement, and providing outstanding guest experiences.

The Regional Director of Operations – Memphis, TN, collaborates closely with all company departments to ensure alignment across all areas of the business, as well as working collaboratively with the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid management team.

Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions

Operational Oversight

  • Lead daily operations across all venues, ensuring excellence in food quality, hospitality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Maintain brand integrity for Wahlburgers and all venue partners, while ensuring local health and safety compliance.
  • Execute operational strategies and maintain systems that drive efficiency, consistency, and quality.


Financial Management

  • Drive top-line sales while managing costs. Take full P&L responsibility for the entire venue; increase revenue across restaurants, room service, bars, and other entertainment concepts.
  • Optimize labor and cost of goods while maximizing guest satisfaction and profitability.
  • Analyze financial results and operational data to guide strategic decisions and improve performance.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Hire, lead, and retain high-performing management and hourly teams across all outlets.
  • Ensure each area is staffed appropriately and team members are fully trained and empowered.
  • Develop succession plans and create advancement opportunities within the venue’s structure.


Human Resources & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, HR procedures, and labor laws.
  • Maintain adherence in hiring, payroll, cash handling, harassment prevention, workplace safety, and more.
  • Collaborate with HR to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where all team members can thrive.


Education And Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management (preferred), or over 3 years of experience managing multiple restaurant units. Experience in a franchise setting is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or training role within the restaurant industry, preferably with multi-unit and franchise operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Strong understanding of the restaurant industry’s dining market and its demands.
  • Ability to travel or work off-hours as needed to support various restaurant locations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a history of driving operational improvements.
  • Proven ability to handle high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive "can-do” attitude.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • ServSafe Certification is required.
  • Represents the company with a professional image while maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor
